About
Fieldwork is a boutique product studio based in the north of England.
We started Fieldwork because we were tired of two patterns. The first: founders paying agencies six figures for products that don't ship. The second: junior teams learning on someone else's runway. We wanted to work directly with founders, do the work ourselves, and be honest about what we were building.
Methodology
Lean. Senior. Honest.
Three principles we won't compromise on:
- Senior people only.
- No juniors learning on your project. No offshore subcontractors you've never met. The senior people you brief are the senior people who do the work.
- Ship something real.
- Strategy decks don't validate ideas. Live products do. Every engagement ends with a thing in users' hands.
- No faff.
- No discovery theatre. No process for the sake of process. No design that doesn't ship. We move fast because moving fast is the point.
